Where can I find a therapist?

Dr. John E. Upledger  was the founder of CranioSacral Therapy and the The Upledger Institute, Inc. You can find a CST practitioner here, select CranioSacral  in “Advanced Search” and then add in your location.

Look at “Core Classes Taken” section to see the classes that a practitioner has taken. Some have therapist profiles you can take a look at. It is suggested to call and speak with therapists. Select the one you like and trust your instinct.

How long is a session?

Typical sessions are approximately 60-minutes long. On occasion, you may be able to schedule a shorter or longer appointment, depending on your specific needs

Does a therapist have to have experience in your particular diagnosis?

No. Don’t worry too much about your diagnostic label. Craniosacral Therapy works at the source of the problem and complements the body’s natural ability to heal.

Are there therapists in my country?

For those of you looking for a craniosacral therapist outside of the United States please visit the Upledger International website and click on "find a therapist".

What is a Multi-Hands Craniosacral Therapy session?

When more than one therapist is working with you at the same time, the session is considered Multi-hands work. This is a great opportunity to address a complex issue that you have been working with for a long time, or when you want to take care of a problem more quickly.
